I had an absolute blast. It was so enjoyable and so full of information that it should be labelled a Super Mega Masterclass. The class was structured very well, with a lowdown on every aspect of interior styling, from creating a mood board, learning about colour theory, to furniture, draperies, lighting and even budgeting for clients. It was equally useful for people like me who love to style their own homes and those who are doing this on a professional basis. I was drawn to Attirail for its bold yet balanced use of colours and patterns, and the masterclass delivered far more than I anticipated. While formal design education covers layout and lighting, creating intentional colour schemes and using patterns meaningfully is rarely addressed in depth. What I found especially valuable was learning how to adapt patterns for both minimalist and maximalist personalities. These learnings are naturally reflected in my recent projects and have added clarity and confidence to my design process.

The masterclass was how it explained what interior styling is, because that's something many people aren't aware of (yet). The best part was that no specific degree or qualification is needed; anyone curious or interested can explore this, and the learning never goes to waste, even if it's not going to be taken ahead professionally. The class beautifully highlighted how interior styling brings out a homeowner's personality through a stylist's language and aesthetics. The teaching was quick, engaging, and easy to follow. I really admired how Purva, the founder, conducted the session herself, sharing real projects and explaining everything in such detail. Loved the creative freedom we were given for the end project, it helped us bring out and understand our own style and what we'd like our space to feel like.
